1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using JyotishGPT (“Service”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Service description
JyotishGPT is an AI-assisted Vedic astrology platform. We compute birth charts using Swiss Ephemeris (Lahiri ayanamsa) and generate interpretive readings grounded in classical Jyotish principles and retrieval-augmented knowledge. Outputs are interpretive and for personal reflection — not deterministic predictions.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service, or have verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian. By signing up, you confirm you meet this requirement.
4. Your account
You are responsible for providing accurate birth and account information, keeping your password secure, and all activity under your account. One account per mobile number. Notify us immediately at privacy@jyotishgpt.in if you suspect unauthorised access.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
• Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes. • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or overload our systems. • Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity. • Upload content that infringes third-party rights or contains malware.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
6. AI disclaimer and limitation of liability
Astrology readings are provided “as is” without warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. JyotishGPT is not a substitute for medical, legal, financial, or mental-health professionals. To the fullest extent permitted under applicable law in India, JyotishGPT and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or INR 1,000, whichever is greater.
7. WhatsApp messages
If you opt in at signup, we may send important service updates and announcements to your registered WhatsApp number. This consent is separate from your agreement to these Terms. We will not use WhatsApp for unsolicited promotional spam. You may opt out by contacting privacy@jyotishgpt.in.
8. Intellectual property
The JyotishGPT name, logo, software, and original content are owned by us or our licensors. You retain ownership of the personal information and messages you submit. You grant us a limited licence to process your inputs solely to provide and improve the Service.
9. Subscription and freemium tier
JyotishGPT offers a free tier with limited AI chat queries and a premium tier with expanded access. Feature limits, pricing, and payment terms for premium plans will be disclosed at the point of purchase. We may modify free-tier limits with reasonable notice.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. To request account deletion, email privacy@jyotishgpt.in. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms, legal requirements, or prolonged inactivity, with notice where practicable.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. New users must accept the current version at signup.
